Matt Kvesic excited to be a Worcester Warrior again

Matt Kvesic has seen a lot in his career – Test rugby, European and Premiership competition, even clubs in crisis – but nothing, he says, compares to the emotional pull of walking back through the doors at Sixways.

The former England back rower, 33, is returning to a place many feared might be lost forever. Worcester Warriors, plunged into administration in September 2022 and kicked out of the top flight, are back – and Kvesic is leading the charge into a new era in the Championship, now rebranded as The Champ.
